Any word on this? I assume they will sell it again since it was well-received last year and I can't remember any negative alcohol-related incidents. This ESPN article supposedly lists all college football teams that have beer available in their stadiums, and we are not listed.

Looks like they approved it at Troy. It was voted down in recent years.

It's a revenue stream. Most programs want more of those.

Unless the UAB Athletic Dept. killed it, there will be beer at th FB games at Legion.

I'm or selling it but I bring my own. More affordable

I'm glad we now understand the "sarcasm font" on here. If we had the same discussion (from the same "experts") for the umpteenth time, somebody might go postal.

Up in Blazer Club section, you can purchase beer or liquor, and that hasn't changed.

Down in the GA section, you can drink beer or liquor, and that hasn't changed either.

I think beer was $5 which is definitely cheaper than at a professional sports game. I think it was $18 for two beers at the last Braves game I went to.

And it's not on tap, so you don't have to worry about them not being able to keep it cold or keep it from coming out flat.

By the end of the season, they were doing canned tallboys and aluminum bottles with screw tops, so no worries of broken glass or trying to find someone with a bottle opener.

Yes we're talking about general sales for normal people that want to sit in a normal place and be remotely close to the game.

To deny UAB football fans beer would be akin to denying surgery patients analgesics.
