Marshall vs. WKU comes in at #24

I'm glad Marshall has a shot at going undefeated. Its good pub for the conference... unless of course they go running off to another conference next season. I would think the rest of us can tell our recruits, "look, you can get a top 25 ranking, play in the BCS playoffs" etc, while in CUSA. If Marshall can do it, so can the rest of us. This is the Herd's year. I'll be rooting for them in every game except the ODU one.

Now that is something to be proud of... All kidding aside, I think there are a few teams in CUSA that will be a surprise this season and be tough outs for Marshall. If they manage to go undefeated they will have earned whatever spoils they get out of the deal…I do not care what schedule you have it is tough as hell to win week in and week out with a target on your back.

Not aure of the odds. But i know espn gave us only a 29% chance at being 7-0 in that little article they did about teams most likely to start 7-0.

Marshall isn't going anywhere. Doc Holliday would probably get a big offer somewhere and have to take it if we did go undefeated, though.

This is exactly why it is so hard to win consistently at schools like ECU and Marshall. When you finally get a guy who gets things rolling he is hired away for huge dollars. I think if Holliday has another solid season this year he will be up for some jobs. His recruiting ability is top notch, especially on the state of Florida….That would be an attractive quality for a lot of schools. Hopefully you guys can hang on to him, maybe his West Virginia roots will entice him to stay…Does he have family in the area>
