Curious, what would be different today if he was a success in your eyes?
Some thoughts, for starters,
1. Economic growth at an annual rate consistent with recovery for some significant part of the last 6 years, instead of limping along at current levels.
2. A real health care reform that was up and running and had legitimate prospects of providing improved quality and access to health care, instead of a band-aid on the way to socialized medicine that was experiencing excessive glitches in the rollout.
3. A stable Middle East. I would say stable, peaceful Middle East, but I don't think peace is a realistic option; but stability was and is.
4. A balanced budget.
5. A tax system that made US businesses more competitive in the global marketplace, instead of chasing businesses offshore.
6. No Fast and Furious, no IRS scandal, no Benghazi cover-up, true transparency in how the executive branch does business.
7. Transition underway from a retail/service economy back to a production economy.
8. Seal Team SIX praised instead of vilified for racking up the only two true successes of his regime--rescuing the sea captain and getting bin Laden.
