How are you still trolling after a BCS Bowl victory?

You know he's going to name a successor. Legit take out there about immortalizing O'Leary in Athletic Park somewhere

He's on a rolling contract. He signs a new one every year or 2. It helps recruiting.

O'Leary stepping down?
Gol is not leaving the program after the Ireland game. He may announce his retirement if we win but he wouldn't do that to the program. Even if it's true he would coordinate with the university and make it a joint statement. He is fiercely loyal to us and president Hitt. For all intents and purposes he has consistently said he will stay until he stops having fun. We are building ucf in Orlando. If he is leaving it's for medical reasons and no other. We have made it a point to keep our nose clean after our last moron ad. Additionally there is a reason he extended a couple of months ago. We have all heard rumblings that he is retiring for several months but none have said it would be this soon. Key is the coach in waiting and has been. He is a hardcore gol disciple and will do just fine. Folks here in the know have said that what has been heard is that this was just succession planning for the last 3 months with no firm exit.

Looks like Feldman wanted to be the first to break the Key appointment in the national media but that's been talked about since last year at UCF. The Ireland timetable is what has everyone raising an eyebrow. It's so arbitrary and unlike GOL.

Good thing he shot it down real quick.

'I don't quit." Gotta love it.

I know you mean well, panama... But this is the PlusOne League, The AAC as we know it and not your ordinary G4.

RE: O'Leary stepping down?
Can any UCF fans give us the entire perspective on what happened in the situation with O'Leary possibly being responsible for the death of one of the players? I read articles and heard other teams' fans discuss it, but I've never heard what UCF fans say about it. Was he truly at fault for that?

No. The entire "O'Leary is responsible" theory is based on him allegedly yelling at the kid to get up. He is no more responsible than Steve Spurrier, Jim Leavitt, Bobby Bowden, or any other number of coaches that have had a player die.

The AAC is already a POWER conference... This league isn't making the tv revenue $$$ we all expected, but confident will soon... That's the difference.

First let me say it is very unfortunate. Eric had sickle cell trait which in athletes can lead to death if they exert a lot of effort in the heat. It has been identified as the reason for the deaths of many hs football and bball players. All athletes are supposed to disclose if they have it and it has been a reason to deny offers. Apparently Eric had this trait and it was not disclosed. I can't remember if it was because he hadn't gotten tested to confirm it or something along those lines. They were practicing in our indoor practice facilities. If coach doesn't see team members put forth enough effort he makes them do extra sprints. Apparent Erick was asked to do more sprints. He did not complain. After he did them he collapsed. Apparently coach yelled at him and they didn't treat him the way an athlete with sickle cell should be. (Most can be saved). Ucfaa and gol were sued because they didn't have the training to handle this properly and it was alleged to have been a factor in Ericks death. There were staff members that were trained but not readily available because the players at practice didn't have the trait. A private suit was successful.
