Was it a UMASS DB that he clobbered on the way to the end zone...I cant remember the team, maybe it was Akron...it was like an ESPN + Game of the Week.

Lowering that shoulder like that sure helps your roster chances. 24 yards on 7 carries isn't bad. 1st preseason game, but good nonetheless.

Holy cow. I am not used to seeing Lynch running out of the backfield. He looks fantastic! That was a great run. He made that DB pay and look bad. Congrats JL and keep up the good work. Hoping he continues to shine in the pre-season and earns that spot on the 53-man roster!

He looked so natural all night. He was picking up yards even though it was obvious run situations. Always running forward.

Hopefully he gets some reps on ST next year. He has to if he wants to have any shot to make the team.

That's what I noticed (no special teams reps) and why I feel his chances of making the team are sketchy.

If he can block well enough to protect the punter he would be invaluable. No one would ever know what was coming at them.

The Bears looked bad against the Eagles on ST so maybe they give him a look on KOs and the punt team.

He could also be the emergency QB if the first two guys get hurt in the same game. Can you imagine what he can do for NIU'S image in Chicago if he makes the team and has some success?

Don't remember if Jordan held for the kicker ever, but having him there for FG and Extra Points would be cool as an option to run/pass.

I don't really have any doubt he could be a special teams ace if given the chance. The question is if he'll get the chance or not. If Wolfe could do it, Lynch can.

Jordan def. looked stacked, he may have lost weight but that training room of the bears has done him well on the upper body...He still runs a bit upright for a RB, hopefully he can fix that...but absolutely, he needs to show out on special teams and hopefully he will be given the chance, I agree he has the will and the ability to impact ST, but as even he said it comes down to picking up the schemes and such....we shall see
