Like the majority of these "trophies" it's contrived. Just like the other contrived rivalry trophy since being implemented it's pretty much been a fixture in our trophy case. Hard to call either a rivalry trophy when the other side fails to keep up their side of the deal.

The only real rivalry trophy we have is the Hardees Trophy with South Carolina as that is the only trophy game out of all of our real rivalry games.

And yet Clemson only has a 5-4 lead since BC joined the ACC(5-5 in last 10 games). Took Clemson a while to beat BC again, 50 years to be exact(1958-2008).

And that has what to do with what I stated? Absolutely nothing.

The contrived trophy started in 2008 and since that time Clemson is 5-1 when the trophy is on the line.

In the Textile Bowl Clemson is 23-10 since the trophy was first handed out in 1981.
