Nothing wrong with showing a young team that they have work to do.

No one is going to think losing to Wisconsin is a negative at the end of the season.

My dislike for Crenshaw is starting to reach Torraine Norris levels.

He manages to give UAB some same day coverage with good quotes but he opens the article with a huge slap in the face.

I wouldn't mind being this tournaments version of Chaminade, considering what Chaminade did to become famous.

Idiot writer complimented us trying to insult us.

Just because the word "writer" was used doesn't mean that the person is a "writer".

A blogger who can type words together & put stuff on a page isn't necessarily a writer in my book.

Making some sense in what you are blogging about also isn't a requirement.

It's somewhat true, I see they have true bigs also something I UAB would get. Tosin could easily end up in foul trouble as they could throw three in the game to get him out.

Don't think this was the best year to participate in this tourney.

Impossible to predict those kind of things when these are organized so far ahead of time. Absent some uncontrollable setbacks, we'd have more talent among our older players to mix with our new players.

People need to recognize that this tournament is a good thing for us. So many of you were saying and rightly so that we needed a schedule upgrade. Well now that we got it folks are complaining that we are going to get trashed.

Just let it be. UAB will gain valuable experience in this tournament win or lose. Don't care what any pundits think. UAB did lose some respectability the past few years but you don't gain that back by playing and beating Alabama A&M.

Xavier went 0-3 in this event last year and still made the NCAA tournament

Great point. we upgrade the schedule and now we complain about it? It's not predetermined that we will lose every game. We still have to play the game. This is not a freshman class like we have seen the last few years, this is a major talent upgrade. We may take our lumps early but if they pan out like they should no one will want any part of us in February.

Not me. This is a great op for UAB, win, lose, or draw. It gives us cred by just being in the field.

We are predicting that we likely won't win a game. I agree with that prediction. Doesn't mean it won't be a great experience for us, and like someone else said, you can stil have a very good season, even if you go 0-3 in atlantis
