Let's take millennials for example. Most of them think they are smarter than you, better than you, think they are always right, will try to argue with you until they think they've won, they feel like society owes them, and without WiFi, 4G, and social media, most would feel as though they are in hell.

BUT, there are some that are the complete opposite from this, and actually appreciate what they've been given, and believe in working hard for what they get.

109K people partake in an anti-America rally

03-lol Nicely done.

The Detroit papers had an article on the match's outcome. And right on cue, here come the anti-soccer types in the Detroit papers' comments section.

There is no other sport that attracts this level of butthurt detractors. You tend to get a feel of the demographic of many of them: Middle-aged, pasty white, blue collar-ish, Ted Nugent-fan types who fear anything that hints of "furriners".

I hate soccer and I laugh at the sport, but I definitely wouldn't consider myself "butthurt" about it...

Why do conservatives have so much hate?

Hmm, I don't know if there is an answer to that, Conservatives don't hate...

I think that one of the origins of this problem comes with a generation raised by white liberal soccer moms that wouldn't their little boys to play any other sports. Soccer is void of all the injustices in competition and a much safer sport regarding injury.

Now these little boys are effeminate young men who have also been indoctrinated to see the United States as just another country with a flag on it. It's the perfect storm.

Of course Michigan(home base for white liberals) is going to sell out a stadium when some European team plays a soccer game.

gimmie a break, go reread this thread and get back to me about dixie, he doesn't resort to direct insults, but to say that he doesn't pull a lot of bullsh.it when dealing with people (such as ragging on my hidden status) is a flat out lie.

Soccer is a contact sport. If liberal moms wanted their kids to be safe, they would encourage them to play tennis.

I think the better question would be "How many of us DID think we were smarter."

It helped me a lot more actually having to search for essay material in encyclopedias and whatever else I could find in the library that related to the subject I was writing about. There was no "Google > find good article > copy > paste > change a few words > turn paper in" easy button when I was in high school and college. And calculators got you suspended, especially during a test, along with opened books during a test (unless otherwise specified). I always thought I was smarter than people younger than me because I further along in school, but never did I think I was smarter, or wiser, than people older than me.

wow, generalize much???

It's called a comparison. With the experience I've got talking with you in private messages, and dating a 21 year old girlfriend, I can attest to that attitude fitting most people considered a millennial. For the most part, many of you fit multiple, if not all, of those things I described.

sorry but this is a prime example of your own ego & bullsh.it line of thinking.

So you say dixie is off the hook because he doesn't insult, but ignore his common tactic of pestering the ever living cr.ap outta people (as seen in this thread) which is equally as bad if not worse.

So basically what you are saying is because I think objectively and don't fit into your line of thinking I am in "millennial mode"

that's classic.

You graduated in 08 right???

Go back a decade... 1998.

anyways, I'd say the early 2000s were the golden age of plagiarism, by the late 2000s academic admins have figured out ways to counter it. I never do the google paste/change a few routine and even if the professor wants us turn in a hard copy, we have to submit online as well and it's pretty obvious as to why.
