Congrats to the ladies! This was the 2nd straight year the Conferece title game has come down to UofL and Notre Dame going to 5 games. This year the good guys won! ;-)

It's odd, they spent the entire season ranked in the top ten last year and this year they were hardly in the rankings. Those are some special ladies.

They have a really young team and lost multiple games early against ranked non-conference opponents, so they weren't going to rise to the ranking they have been the last few years (around 10th). They did go 16-1 against Big East teams though this season, not bad!

It'd be pretty sweet if we could lock up the football title and win the basketball title to compliment this one.
