Texas State has a 486-acre main campus and 5,038 additional acres in recreational, instructional, farm and ranch land. Not sure how big our Round rock Campus is.

UTA has been on quite a building spree the last few years see: http://www.uta.edu/masterplan

RE: Campus planning
For any GS fan that hasn't been on campus the last 5 years, you should check it out. The campus has pretty much completely changed in the last 5-10 years. Between changing/renovating old buildings and new ones going up there is very little that looks like it did just a few years ago. I go at least once a year to check things out and I still see new things each time.

The one thing that GS doesn't have is a great bar scene. I haven't gone in a little while, but it doesn't look like much has changed in that regard. The bars are basic and cheap. Good for college students, but alumni with a little more money have few choices. Though a Buffalo Wild Wings and Wild Wings just opened so that's good. But it would be nice if the 'Plaza' bars would step up there game and just renovate the whole place, maybe with more competition they will.

I'd like to see TxSt's campus one day. Looks great.

There are so many more bars in Statesboro than just the plaza though. The plaza caters to young college kids because it's literally nesstled right in between the main campus and the dorms. If you want a more alumni-friendly bar, I recommend GATA's, South City Tavern, the bar at Fuzzy's, or the bar at 40 East. Those are the places I go.

UTA is on about 420 acres at the main campus..there is a research facility at the river bend campus and a down town ft. mini campus at the old santa fe r.r. terminal..

Build build build and tuition rises rises rises.

The bubble is starting to strain a bit.

RE: Campus planning
Was looking at tuition cost for in-state at GS and they are very reasonable for 2014. <2500/semester (~$165/credit hour). Now one does have to add fees, books, food, and housing to that. But the flat tuition is not bad. But man out of state is high, but still probably cheaper than northern schools.

NMSU Master Plan.

Almost 8 years old now, many of the changes have already taken place or been started.

Currently under construction:

Integrated Research and Innovation Center. It'll cost $50 million to complete.

Renovated Education building. It looks like they've raised over $20 million for the project.

A new sorority house. $5 million.

A sharp looking campus gateway.

Future Plans:

Event center attached to Kibbie Dome.

Kibbie Dome expansion.

Phase II construction on the Rec Center

It looks as if there are about a dozen proposed academic building and a few new dorm complexes.
