I have a plan though - going to volunteer in the community, obtain a part time job to pay expenses, apply for jobs like its my full time job, and hopefully get the hell out of Michigan.

I did similar at 29. Very happy with my move for many reasons, but be prepared to be alone now and then.

When you leave your peeps, your support group is a long way away and you have to be your own best friend from time to time.

Other than that, it's been a hellova ride.

I hate it when you drop the e-persona and rear your real self.

Sometimes that's the best part of getting away for awhile and starting new... You get to find YOURSELF again...

Just reading the question and having a pretty good feel for the source, the first thing that pops into my head is: A blow-up doll.

Okay, okay. You've got Step 1 out of the way. Now, you move up to Real Live girls. Hit up a ton of them. Start online. Go on a spree. Get a lot out of your system. Have stories to tell your grand-kids. Possibly many of them if you don't play it safe on such sprees with real girls. Remember, unlike blow-up dolls, real gals can get prego and spawn mini-Nachos.

Keep stuffing that pipeline. One will break! Good work, love it when a plan comes together!
