I know his team beat LSU, but did he defeat MSU too? He went to one bowl game and didn't show. Also since you talk about the Watson era, please elaborate on the years after 2004.

Not only did he defeat Mississippi State and LSU, UAB narrowly was defeated at Georgia, Tennessee and Oklahoma by mere single digits.

Please, if I never have to think about the Oklahoma game in the rest of my lifetime, I will be a happier person.

If there was a pinnacle of Watson's in-game coaching stupidity, it was against the Sooners.

For me, it was the MSU overtime game. Calls three timeouts, so that MSU can't run the clock out...only to take a knee when we get the ball, to send it to OT.

And, the Oklahoma game - at least Watsons teams were still in it and had a chance to win in the 4th.

If Clark was free, bet he'd do it in a heartbeat. Only about three more days to get him though.(unless they are not practicing) If not him, he could send an assistant. Zac would be good.
