I think Georgia Tech takes the Maui Classic, with UCLA my second pick.

ACC is going to bounce back from a dreadful year (by their standards) to have 6 teams in the NCAAs this year.

Looks like the Big East is going to have its work cut out to get 7 teams in the tourney this year with Marquette struggling to beat weak competition, DePaul already losing twice and likely to get buried in Hawaii, St. John's getting blown away by a good, but not great Maryland team, and West Virginia and Seton Hall likely to take a few steps backward this season.

Cheers,
Neil

I'd say the winner of the Memphis-GA Tech semi. UCLA certainly wouldn't be a surprise though.

Still a long way to go. Seton Hall and Cincinnati weren't considered to be threats last year but made major runs. Anything can happen. As for the Classic, I see UCLA and Memphis in the finals with Memphis taking home the trophy.

Not Memphis!

GT - UCLA

UoM - UK (wonder who my mom will be rooting for). I know who I have.

You guys who are down on a few early losses for the BE in hoops - it is early and a long season. Teams that make the most hey in March usually see the biggest improvement in February.

Problem for me Tigers is they don't get too many shots a high rated RPI teams.
