RIP Robert Newhouse. Died way too early at 64.

His oldest son Rodd was a pretty good running back for Rice and then later worked in the NFL for quite awhile with Arizona. He's now a financial advisor in Dallas and I believe he works with some athletes.

With apologies to Paul Gipson and Warren McVey, Robert Newhouse was the best of the University of Houston veer running backs. I remember how great he was at spinning at the moment of contact, thus avoiding arm tackles, and resulting in plenty of YAC for #46.
