Can we stop pretending it's a single person running this nation and admit it's a military junta with a figurehead?

49R.. in case you didn't notice, the article sourced a number of British newspapers.

Just because you think something is a partisan site, doesn't mean they don't have links to "standard" news media out there.

And UCF, I agree with you. The military junta is behind this, although I'm confused as to why they'd overthrow Little Kim, considering he was considered pretty much along the same lines as his father was.

Because it doesn't really matter to them who is 'in charge'? I don't know, maybe they thought he looked like a weak, doughy leader?

Sounds planned if his sister asked for support over a month ago. Especially if he
has only been out of site for 26 days. Actually thought I saw an article a few days
ago about him being at some meeting.

He missed the Supreme People's Assembly meeting, which is why everyone in South Korea is apparently freaking out.

Kim Jong Un's "inconvenient body"

The capital lockdown may be of significance; or considering this regime's record, simply a precaution (the leaders know what's going on in Hong Kong and would rather not see it spread).

However the ROK intelligence is famous for misinterpreting what is going on in the
North. Pudgy is probably feared by more NK generals than they give him credit
for.

He had his uncle killed, some silly general not married to a family member doesn't mean s*** to him.
