No, the OCS footprint was/is bounded by 4th and 6th Avenues S & I-65 & 13th Street. The Bakery on the NW corner of 1st Ave S & 13th St was in the original footprint for the downtown baseball park.

They are leasing the property from UAB. I don't see them moving until UAB tells them to. Might as well make some money off them until we need the property.

I don't disagree, but if I recall correctly, UAB bought the building and leased it back to them for 1 year.

I'm so glad that building is finally being redeveloped. Still waiting on Beer Engineers to get their act together and start work on the building next door.

Anyone heard any updates on the UAB-to-Railroad Park greenway/promenade?

I heard the Beer Engineers thing fell through and is not happening?
