$200,000-350,000

Not all that political or anything but still interesting.

He will get his $200,000 in back pay and if it's found he didn't walk away and into the hands of the Taliban he could get another $150,000, tax free of course.

If he didn't walk away, why shouldn't he get it?

I wholeheartedly agree. Unfortunately for him, his entire platoon (the ones still living), have all spoke out against him and said that he abandoned his post and walked to AQ. I have a hard time believing someone who wasn't present as opposed to several men that witnessed it.

Fine...however, if found guilty of "walking away" aka deserting his post,, awol, treason, then he should have to pay the American tax payer for all cost associated with his exchange, transportation, mental evaluations/medical bills and courts martial.
