Name the last assistant we had who brought in 3 top recruits, including 2 in the top 10? Not many ever do that much. Not saying Keelon won't get more, but his family is a pretty damn good haul, if he does nothing else. How many did Gardner get while he was here? Or Jimmy Williams? Or Willis Wilson?

To answer your last few questions, not many, at least not many good ones, maybe zero.

Are folks still arguing about this?
Hiring Lawson is one of the top 5 smartest things Partner will have done as basketball head coach.

I don't think anybody is arguing that, at all. I think it's switched to, "I wonder if he can bring anybody else?" My point is he probably will, but he will already be bringing more than most, just within his family.

Im confused, what is Lawson's relationship to this Arnold guy? Is he a 5star? I cant find him anywhere on Jeff whineburger's Recruiting 900 #.. Do you think Lawson can reel him in?

My stars run from 0 to 5, depending on the subject. Basketball is a 0. I'm a space eater, but I have point guard height, Dom Woodson weight, and my vertical is 2". And I can't run 94' without an oxygen mask.

I guess your right when you look at those other guys....will be nice if he could bring even more to the table though...and I hope he's not a Sylvester Ford type dad.

I have no idea how he will handle the dad thing, but I think it's a safe bet he'll bring in more than just his sons. He reportedly is friends with quite a few AAU kids and their families.

You sell Gary Parrish short. Gary Parrish is a wonderful human being that never slights others and admits mistakes without being cornered. Gary Parrish is everything to everyone and a paragon of virtue and decorum. Indeed, Gary Parrish is the best sports commentator and person ever to grace our planet and we are fortunate Gary Parrish tolerates mere fans, listeners, readers, and customers.
I think he's the best in the business for info. I could care less if he's sarcastic or not.

With Lawson being a high school coach for many years, I would think he has a pretty firm grasp of what the rules are and the limits they impose. JMHO.
I don't know about that. You can do a lot of things that are iffy when no one is watching. The rules are different under lit magnification. Stammers has a point.
Coaches have to take and pass a test before they can go on the road. He will know what's up before being out there reppin' the U. Then every D1 coach has to take and pass the test again each subsequent year.
