Get your fore some together today for a fantastic day on the golf course and a great post golf banquet at Fatty's with NIU Huskies Head Football Coach, Rod Carey. We will have great raffle prizes and an amazing silent auction, all to help raise money to help others.

Cost of golfing is $125 per person and $480 per fore some. The outing includes... 18 holes of golf, 1/2 power cart, lunch on the course, goodie bags, outing t-shirt, hole and raffle prizes, plus a banquet dinner at Fatty's with Coach Carey and members of the NIU football coaching staff. The banquet will include Fatty's food and a silent auction will feature some amazing items including a full size NIU game helmet signed by the last 4 NIU Head Coaches, Jordan Lynch signed item(s), plus many other special NIU and NFL items, and much much more.

Proceeds will benefit two great organizations: The DeKalb/Sycamore Special Education Fund, funds will go toward helping Special Education Programs in DeKalb and Sycamore School Districts. The Patrick Newman Foundation, Patrick a former Kishwaukee College Student & Baseball Player, was terribly injured on March 14th, 2007 while jogging home. Patrick was struck by an uninsured motorist and suffered brain damage. Funds will go toward his recovery.

Looks like it is $25 per person for the banquet.

The golf outing is sold out for the 6th straight year.

Tomorrow evening, if you are in the main bar area of Fatty's which is open to the public, you can access the silent auction table next to the dart board and bid on great items. Silent auction will end sometime between 6pm-7pm. It really just depends on how soon golf ends and everyone is back, we make the call for end time once people are golfers are back.

Here are some of the great items up for bid.

#1 NIU Game Helmet Signed by last 4 NIU Head Coaches - Coach Novak, Kill, Doeren and Carey all signed the helmet. Coach shipped the helmet across the country to get signed. One of a kind!

#2 Golf with Coach Carey at Kishwaukee Country Club. You and a guest get to golf 18 holes with Coach Rod Carey and another member of his coaching staff. Date would have to be based on Coaches schedule and availability.

#3 Jordan Lynch Signed Football
#4 Jimmie Ward Signed Football
#5 NIU Tailgate Tent Package includes 9x9 NIU Tent, Cooler and other tailgate gear
#6 NIU vs Northwestern Bus Trip Package for 2 on NIU Trip

This is just some of the items we have. I know we have a beer vending machine, golf bags, beer signs, Minnesota signed game helmet from Coach Kill, Game Helmet from NC State signed by Coach Doeren, plus Many awesome foursomes of golf including Seven Bridges. Broadway Show in Chicago and more. All money goes to help charities including the DeKalb and Sycamore Schools Special Education Departments.
