Maybe they're doing some admirable things by keeping some kids off the street and giving them something of a chance. Sorry to keep beating the horse, but I don't see much of an up side for us. The win isn't worth it.

The coach said that they're playing football because they can. Who can stop them in the age of political correctness? It is wierd, to say the least, an entirely on-line school playing sports. But, in this age of higher education, should we be that surprised? On-line higher education is off and running, now working its way into the traditional institution. Perhaps University of Phoenix, Strayer University, et al might want to look at this. Who knows -- maybe Conference On-Line America will result. Ha, Ha.

Phoenix already has major sports, just in a different way. They spent a gazillion dollars for the naming rights to the Arizona Cardinals' stadium.

I look forward to other up-and-comers such as School of Hard Knocks and The Ohio College of Clown Arts.

ETSU needs to take College of Faith off the schedule. The students are paying way too much to have this joke of an "institution" a part of any football schedule.

It makes me mad enough that I might reconsider getting season tickets.

A friend of mine works with the chain crew at a local college, and he told me that the College of Faith had the worst language and attitudes of any team he'd seen.

Did the coach or AD defend/discuss the College of Faith game publicly, or was this just an online release?

There was a press conference but I don't think a lot was known about the team to the media as soon as it was announced. I'm sure it will come up in press availability though.

7 months 28 days. I have the countdown on my phone.. I can't wait. I haven't heard anybody talking about the OL. We all know that will be a pressure point for these young guys, 19yr olds vs. 22-23 yr olds.... Any thoughts?

One thing they did was recruit a lot of raw talent within the OL along with some size. They have a few who are undersized, but that's what the strength program is for and I think we'll these guys be pretty solid.
One thing that will help out is the level of competition this year.

So the Charleston Southern game is now on Thursday.

College of Faith is no longer listed. Adding Montana State makes this a pretty tough schedule. Charleston Southern has been very good lately. Montana State has made the playoffs 5 of 6 years. St. Francis and Gardner-Webb are very competitive teams.

That was a very good move. College of Faith should have never been on the schedule
