I agree with the expectation here.

0-3 wins: very disappointed.
4-5 wins: encouraged.
6+ wins: pinch me and tell me it's real.

Hell, 4-8 is better than the last few years.

Sadly, 4-8 would be our best record since 2010.

So we win our 1st 4 games then poorly photoshopped photos of our coaching staff with Tony Montoya appear on the internet and Jon Soloman prints it and pens an article about how he knew about it all along. The SEC Commissioner is pressured into suspending Coack Clark and staff pending further examination. Brit Bannowsky says wait....what? Um. OK Roy, U R the boss and continues lining up his putt.

RE: Bleacher Report: Predicting 2014 W-L Record for Every New College Football Coach
My friend called me the other day and said that as far as he's read everyone has us going between 2-10 or 4-8. While he was listening to wjerx a prognosticator on the Mat and Scott show said he sees us going 6-6. We started joking that because of him, now we are gonna go 1-11.
Its kind of like the year everyone had us going last to next to last in b-ball and we woud up being C-USA champs and making the ncaa's. To get bounced out and in the first round.

I say 6-6, Clark takes us to a bowl fans can actually attend, and he begins getting courted by other schools. He stays one more year, we have another winning season, and soon the BOT has him tested for performance enhancing coaching steroids. A player is arrested with an under aged chicken in an illegall pop rocks ring. Finis volunteers to represent and loses. Clark is forced to quit, we hire another bama/$ec coordinator reject and start all over again.

Yeah, I'm with Band Dad, 6-6.

We haven't been beaten in over 7 months, what's another 5?

3-9.

We're talking about UAB football here. I'll be giddy over a one-win improvement.

Until UAB loses one game, we are undefeated. Play and win them one at a time until we don't.
