Fun Fact: App State is now FBS for the second time.

The Southern Conference elected to be I-A after the I-A/I-AA split in 1978. Then in 1982, the league decided to drop down to I-AA/FCS.

Its a big day for us, not just joining the SBC, but our new Chancellor is now officially on the payroll. I'm alittle nervous, she hasn't given us any idea on the direction on how she plans to lead the University. Until she gives us a clear idea, I'm going to worry about the future of our athletic dept.
