Gym 'Backs Year 2 starts tonight

In one of only 2 women's sports at UA that makes money (basketball the other), the UA Gym 'Backs open their season with a quad meet facing Minnesota, West Virginia, and Illinois-Chicago tonight at Barnhill Arena.

In season #1, UA's all-freshman team missed making the NCAA regionals by .0125 . This year they're projected to make the NCAA's field of 24 for the first time; an amazing feat for a team this young that they're already better than 65 other programs. The Gym 'Backs also surprised many when they finished the season ranked #4 nationally in attendance figures.

Best of luck to our girls as they begin their second year of competition.
