exactly...I can't count the number of times I've been in downtown New Orleans...never felt unsafe.

That's because you are used to Memphis. NO is a sanctuary compared to that rathole.

03-lmfao Montgomery and safe in the same sentence...talk about a dump...it's that place I'm glad to see in my rearview on my way to Florida.

Good thing I don't get my feelings hurt because I'm not from a dive, like Memphis, or Montgomery.

?...... New Orleans East has parts still down n out but Lakeside to uptown, uptown to the Marigny, Treme to Bywater, all beautiful and rich in culture. Metairie, Kenner, Northshore, Westbank, all doing just fine.

Wow, some liberal piss ant taking shots at Mississippi. Can't believe he brought sports into it. Ask him what Toolame's all time record in football is against USM. USM had probably the worst team in the country the last two years, but we would have to suck that bad for the next 40 years to just equal Toolame's suckage. That have 5 winning seasons in the last 40 years. How bad does that suck.

Once again Mississippi is one of the fattest, dumbest, poorest states in the country every year. I dont even need an argument beyond that to show it sucks. Low wages, teen pregnancy, awful schools, horrible health, backwards politics, not a single fortune 500 company. My God. Indefensible.

It's funny listening to people argue about which southern state/city is less sh!tty. From where I'm sitting, it all looks the same.
