It is now pretty much a big hole in the ground. Anybody know if ETSU bought that corner finally or did they knock it down to rebuild (which makes no sense to me). It the past we had talked about that area being a good place for a new arena but some thought the BP would never sell since it made such a good business of beer sales to the students.

EDIT: I have been told they are rebuilding, damn that little store must crank out the money to afford that.
Come to think about I am not sure ETSU could have afforded it anyway. Cost of property + cost of cleaning up the
old tanks and removing all the old soil and replacing it, etc.

I totally agree. It would be super for the University to obtain that property. It would make so much sense but unfortunately I saw their sign on the corner saying they are rebuilding.
