Of course not. This is some very exciting stuff. Great to hear big time talent coming to Temple and the league.

Sorry, "Dont sleep on" has already been taken by Houston, please find a new moniker. The list is as follows to date:

Don't Sleep on Houston
ECU is on the Rise

Maybe something like "Temple is coming Back"

What a crock of *hit... I didn't know Houston had sign up for that stupid moniker.

CougarKing trademarked it

... is that so 05-mafia

It is funny how P5 teams get butthurt from AAC teams landing sought after recruits

Their other board was much worse. I got banned for being a Temple fan. Just complete P5 elitism. They acted like Temple is Drexel.

I clicked on the link and was smiling reading a lot of the posts. What most don’t realize is Temple will be hiring their next head coach.

Brunson is a product of Temple basketball he played for and learned the game from Chaney, he expressed his desire to coach at Temple after Chaney left, had a 10 year NBA career so can relate to todays young athletes who aspire to go pro, was an assistant at both the college and NBA level so he has paid his dues and would inject some much needed youth into the recruiting process.

Dunphys contract runs I believe through the 2018 season so this gives them time to transition the team to Brunson with recruiting and the program not missing a beat. He is a perfect fit.

There are few bigger supporters of Dunphy than me but if the game plan for the next head coach is what I described above I am all for it and I believe Temple basketball will be in an excellent position for a lot of years to come.

This.
