It's also can be demonstrated that inflation typically has an inverse relationship to unemployment. By most standards, unemployment is still high which should lead to low inflation.

There are exceptions, for example during the glory years of Jimmy Carter's administration when inflation, unemployment rates and interest rates were at historically high levels at the same time. Tremendous accomplishment, Jimmy.
