That's pretty sad looks like ECU greatest victory happened almost 20 years ago, most p5 embers care about what happened last year, and currently.
Oh, hello stupid, the UNC and NC State videos were THIS year, duh. You can't be that slow, you can't.
And, an unranked USC-e team, we beat them 5 times in the 1990's. No, best ever was 1999 over a top 10 Miami, from a highest ranked team beaten, WVU 08 2nd, Pitt 91 3rd, Syracuse 91 4th, NCSU in the 92 peach bowl 5th, 08 VT 6th.
BTW, 1991 ECU beat then Memphis State who beat USC to start the year. Oops.
UNC and NC state?... Wow I am impressed those are some good Basketball teams, football on the other hand..... Not so much. In addition I wouldn't keep bringing up games from 20 years ago it's really sad and somewhat pathetic, it reminds me of BYU poster bringing up their suspect National Championship from 30 years ago!...
You asked, I answered, and they are not all from 20 years ago, unless my math fails and 2008 is 20 years ago. And, and I see now the target moved, beating two P5 last season, both on the road wasn't good enough, because they are "basketball schools". We could go to Williams-Brice this year, win, go to Lane Stadium and win, beat UNC at home and it wouldn't be good enough. You'd simply move the target yet again. You are just a poster trolling with no info, and no power. You are just here to see how far you can push it before you get banned.
One just needs to look at TCU and Utah top of the G5 heap that received the Golden Ticket, when you have to play a P5 schedule day in and day out your record goes from 12-0 to 0-12.
And the point is? Stanford actually decreased the amount of seats in their stadium to make them more confortable. And believe it or not at Stanford the world doesn't revolve around football like it obviously does at ECU, we are more concerned about producing the next President of the United States, Supreme Court Justice of the United States, US Senators and US congressman, the next founder of companies like Hewett-Packard, Google, Yahoo, Cisco, Intel, Sun Micro Systems, Linked-in, the Gap, Trader Joes, Tesla. And many many others.

I'm going to be a congressman soon. I'll be sure to rub elbows with the Stanford grads while enjoy public service. Make sure the ECU fans don't forget to bring me up when arguing with you on the forum .

Yes sounds like you would make a good tea party candidate, below average intellect, live in a double wide, watch nascar, have a stash of guns enough to equip any army, and a product of in-breeding.

Triple A that's a good metaphor of the difference between the P5 and G 5 we are Major League and I think it would be a stretch to call the G5 Triple A.

What's a Swofford?, just because in the south you have a double wide and an aluminum fishing boat doesn't make you wealthy, on the other hand our tuition at both Stanford and USC probably exceed your entire net worth.

Your uncle is an Ohio alum and advised us to put an upper deck on the stadium rather than complete the bowl.

The Rose, Fiesta, Sugar, Orange Bowls will host our playoffs and National Championships. The P5 will also take along the Cotton, Capital One, along with too many others to mention.
What Bowls do you remaining Division 1 members think you will be using for your playoffs and National Championships? I am thinking you will keep your Championship sites like the Las Vegas, , New Mexico, Potato Bowls. What bowls do you AAC members think will host your playoffs and Championships, also do you plan to expand to 8-16 for the playoffs?

If you are the product of an education at Stanford or USC, then by comparison our kindergarteners face a more daunting curriculum.

What upcoming announcement? I haven't seen one article stating there would be any announcement. Not one quote from an official source. Cart before the horse...or just speculation?
Mike Slieve commissioner of the SEC can fill you in.
RE: G5 MEDIA REVENUE GOING UP OR DOWN AFTER THE P5 SPLIT TO FORM DIVISION IV?
(06-24-2014 05:13 PM)TROJANCARDINAL Wrote: Hi you AAC posters, I was wondering with the upcoming split of the P5 to form Division IV without bringing up anyone including BYU from the G5, How do you think this will affect the AAC revenue?
The P5 will announce in August their total complete split from 1A to form Division IV without bringing anyone along from the G5 including BYU. When the P5 break away from this ill-fitting 120+ member and constantly growing 1A division they will be able to work as one cohesive unit to offer their media rights to the highest bidder. This amount which will be shared equally by all members should total at least 50 million per member.
Since all the Division IV members will be making an equal amount for their tier 1 media rights, the need to add G5 teams will end and the shuffling of members from one P5 to another will end since everyone will make the same tier 1 money. Division IV leagues will then reshuffle back to roughly equal leagues of at least 12 members based on region, history and culture. The tier 2-3 rights will generate an additional 2-25 million or more per team.
I have posed this question also to the MWC and of course is valid for all G5 conference CUSA, MAC and Sun Belt. I believe that the National Networks will continue to televise these P5 leagues with a national audience. But I am surmising that the G5 with their more "regional" appeal will loose the National Television Coverage since someone in Los Angeles probably doesn't care about a regional game featuring Houston and ECU, or someone in NYC caring about a San Jose State vers New Mexico game.
After the G5 lose the national media like ESPN, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX to have their product only shown on your local channels, what do you think your media revenue will be? $250,000-$500,000 or do you think you can maintain your current payout or even increase it with only regional coverage?
