So the Americans think it's their job to deal with labor laws of Ireland vs Norway? And a lot of people who agree with that thought don't think we should enforce our own border...

And? Any comment from yerself?

How many "bag handlers" and "curb side service Concierge" guys have put entire Airlines out of business, forget about the actual pilots and stewardesses involved, in the last 30 or more years?

You don't like it, Mach, and I understand that as you're a Union guy. Fair enough, respectful. Yet, you cannot deny that the Unions have simply made the bed they now shall lay in. Or better, dug their own graves.

It's over. The old construct is no longer and the Unions have failed (both themselves and clearly their members) to recognize that. They are Dinosaurs of an era since past, time to either move on or perish with them.

There is plenty of prosperity ahead if we can ever move on from this 1950's mindset.

Jus' sayin. 04-cheers

This has happened countless times over the years to industries that got fat and lazy. Same here. Better mousetrap will eventually win.

I remember flying from NC to my parents home in MS a few years back. I arrived.. My bag didn't. My bag was left at the airport. It got to me the day before I left to come back to NC. When I contacted the airline about a refund because they forgot to put it on the plane.. The response was, it made it there, therefore we met our obligation. I no longer fly that airline if I can help it. If I do, I make sure I carry on.

Hope they get approved to fly in the U.S. We need more competition. That the Pilot's Association is willing to spend millions to stop them tells me everything I need to know. Unions no longer serve a useful purpose.

heck, other than the fact that they're suing Singapore pilots on equipment that I would _assume_ is written in Norwegian.... heck you don't need a Union to tell you this is a really weird idea the organization has.
