The above is a composite picture, but it effectively is what Lois Lerner has been giving Congress and all Americans she is allegedly supposed to serve.

The thing about dogs eating homework is, it could actually happen. This can’t.

This is “the dog ate my hard drive, broke into another building, ate the backup of the hard drive, then broke into six other top officials’ offices and ate their hard drives also.”

What we learned about the IRS this week is that there is an obvious criminal coverup that comes in addition to the possible underlying crimes. Prosecutions need to be brought against all of those involved.

It's TWRUE!!!!!!!! Look it up. Now the whole missing email thing is troublesome but trying to assert the whole 5th amendment thing in it is hyperbole. She was willing to testify.

The whole way that came down doesn't make sense.
That usually indicates that there is much more to the story that we don't know. In this case, I have no idea what that might be.

Unfortunately, we won't know what our gov't is up to ever again. Administration officials has effectively controlled the cover up of every scandal. They have created a templet for use by all future administrations. Control the media and the message. Put out a cover story. Hid behind "can't comment before investigation is complete" then appoint a party cronies to investigate. Who does not interview all actors. Drag your feet. Stonewall. Hide behind executive privilege. Make sure cases brought to court do not have "standing" giving courts cover to do nothing.

our system really didnt anticipate the sort of wholly unconstitutional and/or criminal conduct of this administration. there isn't a corrective built into the system to deal with this very effectively - certainly not very quickly.

Problem is you need the emails to make the case. Otherwise everyone takes the 5th. No Special Prosecutor will be appointed. And if the Democrats lose the Senate Obama pulls out the Pardon Pen and starts writing Pardons. He has nothing to lose if the Republicans take the Senate because his Agenda is kaput.

Can you be pardoned for a crime for which you have not been charged? I don't think so.

This might be why Issa won't give Lerner immunity.
