So Andrew White III, a local kid who played his prep ball at Miller School in Charlottesville, is and has been available for some time. Given he wants more playing time and we lost a 6'6 scoring guard this summer, do you think Brady and his staff go after him? He is a loyal guy and only left Kansas because his father supposedly forced his hand due to a lack of playing time.

I don't see how we could realistically compete with the other schools with interest. Those are some top tier programs. It would be great for us but I don't know how Brady could possibly make that sale. These are the times that you wish there was a bulldozer clearing the way for that new facility to give you something to sell.

Well I'm sure Brady's made some great connections in C-Ville.

Seeing as Marshal Wood, Jarvis Threatt and Andrew White III are all available, it could be crazy to see if an instate coach could pull those guys in. We could use Threatt for one year to supplement Cooke. Wood and White could run with Curry and Nation for a season, while leading it on their own for a year. That could put a much needed push into a basketball program that is lackluster at best

RE: Andrew White III
Two problems with Threatt aside from off court issues- 1) no open scholarships 2) he'd have to sit out an extra year I believe to transfer in conference. There are no more open scholarships- Wood JMU may have a shot at because as of several months ago he was just going to be a student focused on school at VaTech so maybe financial aid/walk on may be good enough for him.
