I like it. Of course, I like anything related to UAB.

All of the color schemes used last year really made the players look more ATHLETIC and like a D1 football program. Those awful Old Gold pants should only be worn at practice, by Notre Dame, or a little league team. Baylor has the same primary colors as we do and they really look good in theirs. The key is to have uniforms that are attractive to the recruits and the players that have to play in them. The white on white on white that we wore at Troy last year was rockin it, and the players liked that scheme...if that matters. I think we only need the Dragon on the helmet as well.

Could probably mix some black into the home uniform.

It'd be cool if they posted a video of them unveiling the new uniforms to the players in the brand new locker room.

I have envisioned those helmets before! Very much like one side of the alternate Boise State helmets. If this is true, it backs up what Coach Clark told me himself.

I said, "Coach, I really hope we can get the dragon logo bigger like it used to be ten years ago." He told me, "Don't worry. I think you're going to like what we're going to do with the uniforms."

Very cool! Love the white unis--hope we don't pair the gold pants with the road jerseys. As for the home, I'd like to see just a touch more white on the jerseys (perhaps in the numbers)--in any event, very solid unis. Although I did like the green pants from last year.

If only flashy new uniforms could win games. Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Alabama, etc., have had the same uniforms since time began. They seem to be working out pretty well.
