What was your favorite UAB team?
Mine was by far 2004.

Defeat of Mississippi State, and national exposure on ESPN in a bowl game.

What say you?

RE: What was your favorite UAB team?
Hard to say.

Every team has something I like about them.

'04 for both football and men's basketball.

The last 3 seasons of softball.

2004 for sure, but I agree with TPBlaze84 in that I do wish Joe Webb's 2009 team would have won more games.

I agree with your choice of favorite, and the next season's team as the most disappointing due to the same leadership players being so poorly coached. It went downhill from there until Brown moved on.

For me, it was the '84-87 Basketball team. James and Ced lived across the hall for 3 years, literally 4 feet to their door. So we got to be pretty close.

I must have missed the part where it went back up hill.

Favorite bball team would be 05-06 or 03-04. I really enjoyed the 09-10 and 10-11 teams, but they ended their respective seasons so dismally that it tarnished my experience with those teams..

Anchrum, not Anchorman. Might have been a spellcheck mishap.

Any team that featured the core of Andy Kennedy, Jack Kramer and Alan Ogg. Those guys were just fun to watch.
