I really miss Drew Champlin churning out article after article. If he were still the UAB beat writer, I can guarantee you the Bill Clark Golf deal yesterday would have been covered, and we would have articles this week on the JUCO's arriving, and the camps/recruiting. He seems to be doing very well on his new job assignments though.

Yes he did & is. Too bad he is now covering a team I don't wish to get updates on.

Crenshaw is ok & will do well on anything that they allow him to cover.

Maybe tell him to try to make friends with football and basketball coaches and staff members........then he would be in the loop, not the just the Baron's guy trying to do another job assignment.

That his former West End High School history teacher is a regular contributor. We are very proud of him as an alumnus and later as a former neighbor in Crestwood.
