It's not even important to talk about Memorial Day and those who died serving our country. We must put all our attention on the Isla Vista shooting - why it happened, who was Elliot Rodger, a complete breakdown of the events leading up to the shooting, the father of one of the victims blaming it all on lax gun laws in California(lol) and what legislation is needed to prevent another shooting.
Obama has a real life divertor at his disposal.
You whine and cry when 4 people are killed in Benghazi, but try to politicize the deaths of people here at home. Incredible.
Actually the politicization will come from the left, who is trying to use this as a spark to reignite gun control...
The kid bought three hand guns (not "assault rifles"), he passed a background check and waited for them to be delivered. He the broke the law and killed people.
I don't begrudge the parents of the victims in their grief to strike out at laws they don't like. But the politicians who yell "what difference does it make" when our ambassador was killed now want to use this outlier as a battle cry?
To sum up
- Hand Guns were used
- Waiting Periods were observed
- Background was checked

You can't stop crazy people from being crazy but you can stop some crazy people from getting their hands on guns.
No you can't. Chicago tried that.
Really? When was the last time you heard of a shooting of this type in Chicago?
They happen nightly but they aren't as sexy and the national media ignores them.
So what you are saying is that on nightly basis, a law abiding citizen in Chicago writes a manifesto explaining why he is going to kill, and then goes out and randomly kills innocent people?

I seriously doubt that.
So a manifesto makes the murder more heinous. I see. It's more dramatic than three homies planning out a murder in some dank living room in the projects.
You sir need to stay away from the theater for a while.

Dude, really?
It's the truth...
This man's spot on:
He killed half the victims with a hammer and blade. The person to blame here is Elliot Rodger. Who bought only hand guns, observed a waiting period, and passed a background check..
Yes please do because your research reveals the following.
1. Your first story is simply a shooting. Apparently no one was killed.
2. Your second story was gang related.
3. Your third and fourth stories were murders that were committed by different people.
You still have failed to produce a multiple murder of random people by a mentally ill, law abiding citizen.
And? Is it not still considered a murder? These are just within 3 days. A shooting is a shooting, and these are Chicago... Wanna guess why this doesn't get brought up?

LOL, reread that again...
Fit doesn't understand that these are still guns in the hands of the wrong people. I thought this is what they were fighting for. I guess I'm wrong, maybe it REALLY is just to take guns from innocent people.

Isn't that what makes these kinds of murders different?
That they are random acts of multiple murder by law abiding citizens?
What about a criminal getting his hands on weapons?
We aren't talking about criminals. We are talking about mentally unstable people who get their hands on weapons.
Please try and keep up.
First, how do you know he's mentally unstable before any of this takes place? Being a weirdo, self centered, egotistical douchewhistle isn't grounds for determining mental instability.
Second, this is about gun control, and criminals getting their hands on guns in a gun free environment is proof that gun control doesn't work in the favor of anyone besides a criminal.

The parents have already admitted that he was mentally unstable and reported to the police in April that he was capable of doing something like this
Second we aren't talking about gun control in general but specifically for the mentally ill. Criminals will always get their hands on guns. This isn't a discussion about criminals.

It's not totally untrue.
Don't be a dope.
The Santa Barbara shooting was not a result of our President and his administration dropping the ball then lying about its cause.
So, you're saying Benghazi was?
What was 9/11 then? The USS Cole...Beirut...and on and on...

Ok, I wasn't sure if he was reported as unstable or not.
Thanks, I just wanted to make sure that we both understand that gun control will only hurt the good people of the U/S.
