Good news.

For all the negative PR that surrounds our Men's Basketball and Football teams, it's good to know that the athletic dept as a whole provides quality athletics almost acrossed the board.

You'd think based on the views of our "MAC colleagues" on the main board that we were like 500 points away from being second to last athletically. It is great news to see our programs performing well but yet we all know there is plenty of room for improvement too.

The Reese and Jacoby standings as well as the updated APR are ahead of some of our instate rivals (WMU for example). Despite the naysayers out there, EMU athletics is not an outlaw malcontented home for transfers, nor is a place for non academics to thrive. Quite the opposite. We should all be proud of all of athletes, coaches and staff-lets continue to move up in all the categories!
