It's that P5 realignment slots are the single most valuable commodity in college sports and have to be treated accordingly.

The SECN revenue model means that it makes the conference money to add ONE school from Oklahoma (either would do) but a waste of a slot to add two for such a small state when that slot could go to adding a new market. Remember, A&M and OU (one Texas, one Oklahoma) received SEC invites, OSU did not. That was on purpose.

So that's the difficulty in that scenario. TT/UT/OU/OSU are all bound together by politics, history and alliances. Breaking that up is a lot more difficult than many on here give it credit. But the B1G and SEC will not take all those schools together. Only the PAC or ACC have the room and desire to take all 4 Texoma schools.

But again, all this is moot until 2025

Now, I will say this. I think the best scenario would be the SEC absorbing the entire Big XII south.
