7-5 (5-3). Could be 5-7 or 6-6, but based off what we have seen in the spring, I see dramatic improvement this year. How much improvement remains to be seen. USF is also bringing in more talent than anyone in the conference, and maybe some freshman can be impact players. Taggart is getting his system entrenched, so you will see a big jump in production this year. Possible St Pete bowl or Miami Beach bowl this year.
Just curious ..... the bolded is a fairly unorthodox prediction based on the balance of your picks. Were you thinking that the Bulls would be looking ahead to UCF?
I almost predicted a win, but I didn't want to get overly confident. So I predicted a somewhat unexpected loss. I was impressed with Memphis at times last year. I know they had a bad record, but they played a lot of people close. That is why I predicted a loss there. I see USF sky high with 2 years under Taggarts system for UCF. So I predict a close nailbiter win there.

Aug 28 vs. Tulane - W at home in our inaugural AAC game to start the season.
Sept 6 vs. OU - Would love a W but expect a big L.
Sep 13 @ FAU - Grab a W in the first road game of the season.
Sep 27 vs. Texas St - Should be an easy W
Oct 04 @ Colorado St - We beat them last year with a crappy team. We should be better this year so a W.
Oct 11 @ Temple - Road AAC W against a weak Temple team.
Oct 18 vs. USF - AAC W against a poor USF squad.
Oct 31 @ Memphis - AAC W against an improving Memphis squad.
Nov 08 vs. SMU - Toss up game. SMU always gives TU fits at home. Call it an AAC W since it is at home.
Nov 14 @ UCF - UCF too strong at home gives TU their first loss in AAC play.
Nov 22 @ UH - UH probably too big of a challenge and TU loses regular season conference championship hopes with a L.
Nov 28 vs ECU - All important senior day against a very tough ECU team. Tulsa gets a L for senior day for the 2nd year in row.
USF won't be poor this year. Mediocre, maybe, but not poor.

Temple has one of the best QBs in this conference. I'd hardly call them weak.

Agree with 8-4, losses to VT, USC, USF(obligatory wtf game) and UCF. We lose to strong defenses and struggle with athletic dB's on our receivers. Watched Cinci in bowl game and not impressed with their D otherwise this is a toss up. Everyone else, I think our offense will shred.

RE: Predict Your School's Record (2014)
Kiel looked very good this Spring and Tuberville has another year to implement his system; however, it seems that every year that looks promising, the Bearcats seem to blow a game (or 2, or 3), but here goes:
Final record: 11-1 (9-0 in the American) and Acess Bowl bid:
Toledo - Win (a good first test for Kiel and the Bearcats)
Miami (OH) - Win
OSU - Loss (I think OSU makes the playoffs this year)
Memphis - Win
Miami (FL) - Win (they need this or OSU to gain national exposure and Top 25 votes)
SMU - Win
USF - Win
Tulane - Win
ECU - Win (a big unknown, but the Bearcats are at home)
UConn - Win
Temple - Win
Houston - Win (might not matter, but could)
However, I would not be surprised to see 3-4 losses - they're just too many unknowns at this point - but it's fun to dream.

Boy, if we both go undefeated in conference that would be an epic last week.

their defense will be better, but we'll still move the ball and score on them i never questioned that, but that wasn't what i was worried about

It's in Houston. We almost ran them off the field in their own house with a team full of underclassmen. I'll be surprised if it's not a 3 score win.

10-2... I would say the odds of beating either @Buckeyes or @Hurricanes are about the same as losing one of the others. Won't be surprised if we split the 2 games as underdogs and lose 1 conference game or Toledo. Would feel a little better if we were in Nippert though. A questionable home loss may be on the table this year when it hasn't been very often.

again they also had a team full of underclassmen (defensive captain/star soph, qb true fresh, best rb sop , top WR soph, and a 1st time head coach, with little experience at the time )
again i expect us to win but you are dramatically underestimating temple
im almost certain you never watch a temple game with pj walker as qb (connor rielly was qb when we played them)
you come with the homer approach "we'll be so much better next year" other teams also get better
and we moved the ball imbetween the 20's we didn't run anyone off the field, memphis moved the ball between the 20's on us, did they ran us off the field? (double our offensive yards) its about tds

I will say USF should go anywhere from 5-7 to 7-5 as to which games they will win or lose I think most could go either way which is why Im predicting around .500

Wilkie, I think UofL will be slightly down this year. After all, you did lose a first round QB, who was a 3 year starter. 8-4/9-3 would be considered an outstanding year for Louisville this year.
