Quote:He plans on talking to UAB coach Bill Clark Friday about his recruitment process...The offers he really wants are from LSU and Michigan State.

Looks like his UAB commitment was just to get his name on the radar anyway.

He hasn't decommited and jumped to Louisville or another school so it looks like he wants to be a blazer more than most commits.

I would love to be able to sign this kid, but we'll find another good RB, if he does end up going to a bigger program.

Gotta win games this season. Convince him he will play and that SEC schools make a lot of promises. Playing time is not something they keep their promises on. They got 5 star players stowed away on the bench thru their 5th year.

He'll have a much better chance of playing RB at UAB than if he goes elsewhere.

Well should he choose Bama his replacement will be in the next recruiting class if not the very one he signs with. At least if he sticks w/ UAB or smaller school he'll probably have a multi year career

It makes us look good to have a 5 star commit to us, however briefly.

If we let him play running back, and everyone else insists on making him a DB, we could get him. - EDIT: UAB Band Dad already made this point. Oops.

Remember when little Nicky ranted about schools continuing to go after kids who'd already verbally committed somewhere?

Neither does he.

Lord Nickelass was only referring to kids who'd verbally committed to Him.
