Can't eliminate divisions till it is legal!

What I want to know is who brought up the BYU/Navy/Army topic? What reporter asked about these schools and what was the context?

I think he wanted a SOS rule included plus a scrapping of the divisions. The reality is that the majority of the ACC will probably end up with at least 2 P5 opponents on the OCC schedules every year anyways. Everyone is working to improve the SOS from what I've seen.

Currently that is not possible due to NCAA rules, with the apparent exception of the MAC who has no choice but to do it.

Stanford recruits nationally ... a true coast to coast operation. It takes big money to do that. GT recruits regionally.

Stanford has an Easy A list circulated among athletes (Google it). This is a function of Stanford having some truly patsy liberal arts majors and classes. Such things don't exist at GT. The IAC of Liberal Arts at GT is predominately minors and is still very STEM heavy (3D Modeling, etc).

I can't read your mind. I thought you indicated you wanted the following - based on past posts: 1) 8 conf games, 2) either modified divisions that put more FB schools together or no divisions and 3) Rule(s) for OOC scheduling that all must follow so that the 3 with SEC annual games aren't at a disadvantage and so that the ACC can improve the SOS numbers for each member school.

The vote was close (8-6) in favor of keeping the 8 game schedule.

Then it isn't binding according to Maryland. ACC teams are allowed to schedule as they see fit.
