RE: JORDAN LYNCH SIGNS WITH BEARS!
If i was a versatile player the Bears are one of the last teams i would want to go to. Bears run the prototypical pro offense which is not a fit for Lynch's style. He should have gone to a team like San Francisco, Seattle, or Washington where they have shown that they are willing to use dual threat QBs.

Phil Emery was just asked about Jordan in his press conf. Said he couldnt really talk about him until the singing was official, but he did say Jordan had a really good visit with them and that he expressed an extremely strong desire to be a Chicago Bear

Good for Jordan!!! Can't wait to see him in Bourbonnais.

Trestman is Willy Wonka, right? He may be able to creatively use him on O or maybe they will make him a safety.

He played safety for the Junior Natl team.

It would be awesome for Jordan to beat out David Fales, the Bears 7th round QB draft pick form SJSU and make the roster.

Emery on Jordan Lynch: "I think he's a really fine runner." Also mentions his throwing ability, but repeats Lynch's running ability

Frank Gogola ‏@FrankGogola 1m

#Bears GM Phil Emery on Jordan LynchL "... Great set of eyes ... very instinctive [running] for a QB between the tackles ...

Frank Gogola ‏@FrankGogola 50s

... can find soft spots [in defense] and take sidesteps ... balance ... doesn't go down easy ... ." Making it clear Lynch more of an RB.

He should play safety. Just like he did for the US National team before he started at NIU

On the scout bears board, there was speculation about return man/special teams. RB was also mentioned.

RE: JORDAN LYNCH SIGNS WITH BEARS!
he could only wear 6 (or any single digit number for that matter) if hes listed as a QB on the Bears roster per NFL rules. with that being said, his number assignment in minicamp this coming week should help hint to it a little more. pretty much guaranteed to be between 10-19. #11 would be tight

RE: JORDAN LYNCH SIGNS WITH BEARS!
article in the trib just said the Packers offered him a spot as a QB but he chose the Bears because Trestman called him during the 7th and said they really wanted him and would made it work
