Leon Byrd is starting in centerfield today against a lefty for UTSA. Gets another righthand bat in the lineup.

IMO, both Byrd and Stainback hit better from the left side than the right. Wish we had stats on that. I'd say the move was to get Leon PT, rather than improving team offense. I doubt Leon's RH hitting is significantly better than Warren's hitting against LHP.
