Yeah, people only get their knickers in a twist when you use the "M" word.

They can call it whatever they wish. Personally? IMO..the government has no business in any of this beyond a contract...for ANY COUPLE.. gay or straight.

That's cool, but the Government IS involved, so now what?

It would be kind of silly if we all started calling cats dogs. Some can if they like but a feline will never be a canine.

We're not talking about pets. We're talking about consenting adults.

We are talking about way more than that, and you know it.

Stop aiding in the downfall.

Unfortunately, we can't stay in our houses forever and when a majority wants a society to operate in a certain way, that is how society should operate.

So, you think you are somehow qualified to tell others how they should tend theirs.

Yes, because it's offensive to straight married people. And now that we're offended we want to be heard and catered to just like the other groups that scream and yell when they're offended.

I see. And if they all jumped off a cliff?

It's this simple Smaug. Many people feel the very definition of marriage is one man, one woman...and many find changing that definition offensive.

I also find it offensive.

I am one married hetero that is not offended in the least if Gays get married.

When being around our son my wife and I never, ever stereotyped people and made sure he got his impression of individuals based on their own character and not their religion or the color of their skin, and it has worked flawlessly as my son never even notices color/racial differences in people.

Well, my wife just informed me that he's freaking out (I'm in N Mexico, she's in Vegas) and freaking out bad because a boy just asked him out on a date. Without any prodding from my wife or me he inherently knows that kind of stuff is unnatural.

Me, neither. I've got other things to worry about.

I'm actually holding out for ritual human sacrifice.

Do you actually read what you type?

You are well aware of what I am talking about. You think everyone should take your stance.

Sorry.
