Pouring rain here.
I had it on but was doing other things. Surprising how
much you can miss that way.

Wasn't he the first player to sign with Georgia State
and wouldn't it have been their first draft pick.

Do you just make stuff up as you go? Seriously. Mark Hogan was the first player to sign with Georgia State and Christo Bilukidi was the first player drafted.

At first glance (and I know I'll be missing some):

Jacob Maxwell, TE, Louisana-Lafayette (signed with Detroit)
Andrew Peacock, WR, Appalachian State (signed with Detroit)
Antonio Andrews, RB, Western Kentucky (signed with TN)
Justin Anderson, OLB, Lousiana-Lafayette (Signed with NYG)
Albert Wilson, WR, Georgia State (signed with KC)
TraShaun Nixon, LB, New Mexico State (Signed with NO)

Knew I had you as my back up to tell me the intricacies of Georgia State football.
So why not wing it.

Tony Washington and Andrew Peacock signed as FA with Colts and Tigers respectively, only second year since 2005 that App hasn't had a player drafted.

Believe an article said that between App State, Georgia Southern, Idaho and New Mexico State that the new adds had had 20 NFL draft picks since 1999, and App State has had 9 of the 20.

Georgia State's Ulrick John was drafted in the 7th round by the Colts. Not sure if that got out in this board.

Since he's a chief He's destined to suck. Had Denver signed him, he would have gone on to make the pro bowl.

They hadn't had one going into today I believe.

Anyway congratulations to the Georgia Southern Eagles for their two
NFL draft choices this year. Did the Sun Belt not have any? Believe
WKU had one, but they leave in @ 50 days.

Read elsewhere that this is the first NFL draft ever where a Longhorn wasn't taken.

AState now with a draftee 8 straight years, among the G5 that ties with UConn, Cincy fell out of the tie. Fresno streak now 14 years, UCF 9. App streak ends at 4, Boise State and SMU move to 5 straight.

Browning has signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Other ULM players are Je'ron Hamm (Saints), Josh Allen (Bucs), and Cameron Blakes (Raiders).

Looked into this and someone found it is the first time since 1937 but not the first time. (the draft started in 1936)
