Way to go Jerick. I enjoyed watching this kid grow.

We'll claim him 04-rock

I was really hoping that the Rams would pick him up. But I also kinda hope that Freddie Knighten gets drafted by then next year. I think an option QB would be great in the backfield with Bradford(or in place of him for that matter).

You must think Fredi will have a phenomenal season for him to declare early for the draft.
Well I hope so, but for some reason I was thinking he inky had 1 year left. I lose track of who was who's recruit with all our damn coaching changes lol

Not sure who is more happy, GaSo or App State fans. No tears being shed in
Boone tonight. By the way, you need to tell him to bulk up a
little bit, think the muscles on the muscles could use another muscle.
We had a mutual parting of our S & C coach this week by the way, so we are
in the market for a new one. Any suggestions?

Westbrooks to Cincinnati in the 7th. That's 2 for GS. I really hope they both have long productive careers..

SBC Players in the NFL Draft
Phil Steel said . . [Image: ehazasy5.jpg]

That having been said, the draft is all about an individual's ability and how that individual can contribute to an NFL teams needs.

4-8 Florida per Alligator Army had the second highest SEC EAST contribution in the big boy conference to this years draft

WKU's two picks are Sun Belt picks.
Georgia Southern's two picks are not Sun Belt picks.
Maybe an inconvenient truth to Phil Steele.

RE: SBC Players in the NFL Draft
I know this is about the individual and not the team, but having players drafted will definitely help with recruiting. Even with our gimmicky offense a player had a shot. Its great for the player, but the team can still benefit.
Congrats to all those that were signed and hope they do well in the pros.

Browning has signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Other ULM players are Je'ron Hamm (Saints), Josh Allen (Bucs), and Cameron Blakes (Raiders).

Nice

Yeah, if Kolton makes it on the team I'll have to get over my Cowboy-hating ways. It'll be tough but I think I can do it.

I don't think it was a UDFA. He's not listed on any sites as such. I think he was just invited down for camp and a shot at signing.

Texas D1 Schools and the draft
Baylor - 5
A&M - 3
SMU - 2
TTech - 2
TCU - 1
Rice - 1
The other 6 TX FBS teams had none. There were no TX FCS teams with a player taken.

WKU also had 3 sign as UDFAs: Antonio Andrews; Xavious Boyd and Kadeem Jones. Baree Boyd was given a tryout oppotunity as well.

RE: SBC Players in the NFL Draft
Are any of your players generating any buzz in training camp?

Matt Breida and Ukeme Eligwe seem to have a little hype, haven't heard much of anything about the rest.
