Cuse is a very good basketball program, just not on UConn's level. I'm just telling you how it is and calling it like I see it.

cuse & uconn have different types of stats to point to. you can't say that cuse is as good as uconn, but at the same time you can't say that uconn blows away cuse in every stat.

cuse is a top 10 program, at worst you can't put cuse any lower than 12th. so the tech comparison is 100% unwarranted and more an insult than anything. that is like saying georgia or nebraska have football programs comparable to colorado basketball

Do you like championships?

of course, the question is how much emphasis on all time wins/win %. varies by person and that is a critical factor especially for cuse because they are #5 in both categories. then there's tourny bids, FFs, and judging different eras. some could argue that cuse is just barely behind uconn, others can argue that they are not even close.

one thing that is not disputable is that both are top ten (or very close to the top 10) and these two programs are separated by only a few spots on the all time programs list.

When Syracuse gets 3 more national titles then they can brag about being on the same level as UConn. Until then they are clearly behind the Huskies.

Unlike you when "i call it like i see it" i am honest about it & make rationale comparisons. plus i would never go out of my way to unnecessarily bash a program especially when it is over something that is indisputably wrong.

I am making a rational, reasonable, honest comparison.

UConn BB > Cuse BB
Texas FB > TT FB

These are all pretty indisputable, checkmate.

how many people consider cuse a top 10 program? easily 90% of bb fans

how many consider tech a top 10 program? 0% of FB fans

see the difference????

no didn't expect you to because you are known to be a troll even before this thread

This is not about where Cuse ranks in comparison to all college basketball programs, it's about where they sit in relation to UConn, and that seat is located behind UConn.

I don't care if Syracuse has 100 national titles, it would still be funny to me if they were trashtalking a program with 400 national titles, which is why I always get a chuckle out of Cuse fans bashing UConn.

no you were the dumbshit that compared syracuse basketball to texas tech football

when your "calling it as i see it" is totally wrong and anyone who knows a thing about BB knows that statement is wrong ==> ya can't pull that line.

Only when john01992 "calls it as he sees it,"it's a fact.

I don't think there is any DIII program that has accomplished what Houston has accomplished so by all means compare them. Nothing you say will make Syracuse better than UConn. Sorry, it's just the facts.

The AAC can set up a challenge with MWC.

Memphis/SDSU
Cincy/UNLV
SMU/BYU
USF/Boise

This has interest.

and tech hasn't accomplished anything in FB remotely close to what cuse has accomplished in basketball which means you are either incredibly stupid or incredibly stupid.

and houston hasn't accomplished anywhere close in basketball or football as cuse has in either sport.

UH is a DIII program to cuse in FB and a pee wee football team in BB.

apparently stupidity is a UH thing.

they have 5 FFs each. cuse has been to the championship game 3x to uconns 4. cuse has 2 helms championships. cuse is 5, 5, 7, in all time wins, win %, & tourny bids, uconn is 27, 16, & 11 in those categories.

no one is saying cuse > or equal to uconn. however anyone saying cuse/uconn is tech vs texas or uconn is 10x better than cuse is absolutely clueless about the sport of basketball.

everyone knows that if you start the tourny over again you would get different results. you guys are quite pathetic with this argument.

04-bow Your UConn hate continues to impress me. Seriously, this is pretty good. Don't get me wrong, I like UConn. Trolling the top dogs is just funny...it's so ridiculously awful that it's funny.

This is the point I'd like to emphasize. Syracuse is not equal to UConn. That's ultimately the way I see it and that's really the only point I was trying to make. Is Syracuse still a top ten program? Nobody cares, this is about how they compare to UConn, and it ain't pretty.
