This would be a nice pick up. The kid has a great motor.....very good grades too. I saw where he made 183 tackles his Sr. year! 4 years to play 3. He would definitely help our defense. There is more than likely a space open (think James Caligone went back home to Tulsa).

As with so many recruits UAB has coming in this summer, we are optimistic that the program has turned a corner towards better seasons. Keep in mind that even the best C-USA teams have tried mightily to improve on 2013, just like us. Their talent level was not chopped liver last season, so we must remain cautious in our optimism until we see the whole team on the field 8/30/14.

With new staff, so many new roster members (particularly at QB)and our opponents likely having little video to go on in preparation, we may just surprise - shock? - dismay? - many of our 2014 foes, beginning with Troy.
