Good Morning America: Teddy Bridgewater keeps promise to his Mom...
Good Luck to him Thursday Night and this shows why he is extremely loved here in Louisville...by appearances quality young man who also graduated in 3 Years...while he will not go #1 still apparently will be in the 1st Round...likely to either Tampa, Minnesota, Tennessee, Arizona, Cincinnati, Cleveland at 26 or a Jacksonville trading back into the 1st Round...in NYC for the Green Room/NFL Draft... Good Luck to Calvin Pryor of Louisville the other very likely 1st Rounder from Louisville also in NYC/NFL Draft Green Room...Here is the Video:

When I think 'pink Cadillac', I think 1950's model. Good that he kept his promise though. I don't think any one doubted that he would.
Maybe this is a good time to bring this up but why does his draft status keep dropping? I saw one draft prediction that didn't even have him in the first round. This is from mostly #1 overall predictions all this past year. The commentators on CFL said he'd be a great value in the 2nd round if he did fall that far.

It is crazy....it reminds me of the Aaron Rodgers fall in 2005...some would say the fall of Geno Smith last year BUT unlike Smith last year he didn't tweet during the interviews with NFL Clubs...

Apparently having hands 1/8th inch shorter than the league average drops you to the second round. But Johnny Manziel can be 5'10" and it's no issue.
The talking heads will always find something to complain about. He had one of the best college careers in recent memory and all they can talk about is his hands and his pro day, because we all know standing there in shorts and a tee shirt throwing passes is the same a realtime game action.

Any team would be stupid to pass on this kid.
Actions speak louder than words....if they invite you to NYC for the Draft-(unless you're Geno Smith) you're going to be a 1st Round Draft Pick....my hope-(For my Father) is the Browns take Sammy Watkins at 4th Overall and move back up with their Second 1st Round Pick and get Bridgewater....believe it or not....Talent isn't the issue with Cleveland it is lack of QB and Front Office leadership...

I think you just have to look at it logically and within the purview of how NFL front offices approach the draft these days. Much has changed since the days Hershel Walker was traded for a ton of draft picks. Teams understand that the way to be successful in the NFL is to build your team through the draft and so draft picks are at a premium.
The quarterback position is unique as well. Teams only play 1 QB at a time whereas they play multiple WRs, RBs, OL, DL, etc. Teams also tend to only draft a QB every so many years when they feel the right fit falls to their team. A lot of times teams make these decisions when they're slated to pick very high.
Since you don't play more than one, you don't really draft a QB because they fall onto your lap the way you may with a WR or other position player. You kind of have your guy and roll with him. The amount of teams needing a QB are generally low as well because teams tend to give their QB a few years to develop before they cut the cord.
I guess the bottom line is that I don't think it has anything to do with Teddy Bridgewater. I guess the point is that he's a QB and for the above reasons QBs are prone to fall in the draft.
That's the first I've heard of that issue. Sounds like nothing.
I think Teddy dropped into the best situation for a QB in the NFL. He has Adrian Peterson in the running game, good WR's and a decent Offensive Line. So he won't be looked on to carry the offense. And I expect him to easily beat out his competition at QB.
From a buy/sell perspective, I'd say buy your Teddy Bridgewater football cards now because they'll probably be worth more later.
