I don't hate BC. I don't hate Pitt. I don't hate the north. And honestly I didn't hate Syracuse until I got introduced to Syracuse douchebag posters on message boards. I honestly never thought about Syracuse all that much until y'all came around. Syracuse message board posters rate right up there with South Carolina message board posters........neither have a lot to brag about but they don't let that stop them. Syracuse fans like to talk like they are basketball royalty, yet Syracuse has fewer national titles in hoops than Oklahoma State, NC State, San Francisco, and Florida. Remember all the talk about how Clemson wasn't prepared for the "Loud House" and how the "heat and humidity" was going to affect us? There's a lot of talk from you Syracuse fans about what you are going to do and thus far not a lot of proof to back it up. Thus far IMO Syracuse is the Yorkshire Terrier of college fandom.......lots of bark, not a lot of bite.

Scott Shafer showed his ass on national TV because we didn't kick what would have been an as automatic 3 points as there is with Chandler Catanzaro kicking. Dabo did your hapless team a favor by not adding three points on the board, you weren't going to overcome the margin whatever it was.....at least you losers had something to show for the first half.

Boeheim's comments were totally out of line. Dabo could have made all kinds of comments about going to play a game in what is essentially a barn with absolutely no redeeming qualities in what is essentially a recruiting dead zone, but Beoheim had to play the *******, even after he had already been quoted about having a great meal at a Clemson restaurant in the past. Just a typical Yankee ******* playing to other Yankee jackasses. Or, pretty much like the Syracuse fanbase.....a lot of mouth with little results.

As for hating the north, I don't. I just wish if things were so great up north that you bastiges would stay and quit trying to ruin what we have down here.

Gotta love it. Moved to the smack section when the truth about Syracuse and their fans is posted. Raise your hand if you didn't see this coming? No one? Thought so.

It sounds like someone has thin skin and doesn't like being called out on the truth. For as much as you put down Syracuse, hat has Clemson done? You don't even have a winning record against us. Quit pretending like you are some kind of juggernaut. For as much as you like to claim that Syracuse basketball isn't royalty, SU at least has a claim to 3 basketball titles (albeit only 1 is NCAA). Remind me again, how many titles does the mighty Clemson football team have?

As for coaches, Dabo Sweeny is literally your head coach. There isn't a bigger self-righteous ******* nutcase in college football. Good grief.

However, if it will make you feel any better, I'm sure your Waffle Houses are top notch, and I speak from personal experience when I say Greenville-area BBQ is absolutely excellent. And, inspite of residents like you, Greenville is a very nice town. The walking bridge over the river is a nice touch. It much be the Furman grads...

Kaplony...you have been bashing Cuse since you joined CSNBBS over a decade ago. This is nothing new with an influx of new Cuse posters.

BTW, much of what you are crying about is overblown. It really isn't worth explaining it to you...since you are closed-minded and provincial.

The thread was moved because of the language. If you can state your case without using bad language and childish namecalling then the thread stays on the main board. Once the namecalling and bad language starts you can have at it on the smack board. I personally dont care what you think of Syracuse. You are one insignificant, annonymous message board clemson fan. But since i have been selected as a moderator on this board for going on 6 years now, to help keep the board presentable, thats what I'm going to do whether you are a Syracuse/Yankee hater or not. So you are free to voice your displeasure about Syracuse and any other program or their fans. When you do it civilly it stays on the main board. When you are not able to be civil, it gets moved to the smack board

Syracuse is kingpin in New York. UCONN is kingpin in Connecticut. Clemson will always be second fiddle to the Gamecocks in South Carolina. Next to Kalpony being a troll towards Northeastern schools, it seems like jealousy to me.

I have to side with 'Cuse fans on this one. Syracuse fans are proud, but I don't find them to be particularly arrogant or angry to other people (I even say that as a visiting UConn fan on this board). Most of the venom that I have experienced on this board is from Clemson fans. I am not sure where all of the hate comes from with y'all, but I can assure you that most Syracuse fans are good folk.

Thought I'd drop by and say I dislike the Yankees too. It sucks, every time I say that down here, these oblivious South Floridians think I'm talking about the baseball team... who I also dislike.

We may or may not be basketball royalty but we do know that Clemson is not football royalty or they would have been able to win more football championships than some private yankee school from NY.

I like Greenville a lot. One of my clients, Canal Insurance Company, is based there.

I have traveled to Greenville quite often. Good folks there.
