If Dana can win 5-6 games, he stays head coach......However, I have been hearing Rich Rod's name being thrown around.....seriously by millionaire boosters. They seem to think he even has some sort of clause in his contract with Arizona about coming back to WVU.

DH is in a tough position....He went from coaching in the old Big East, better than most people gave it credit for, to the Big 12, which is the bigger, better conference. I don't care who you have as coach, they're gonna struggle the first several years playing better teams week in and week out. I feel that we should give Dana more time to build up the team depth. It's not like we aren't competitive in the league. We've played Texas and Oklahoma close in the last 4 games we've played them. I believe we've actually led in the 2nd half with several of the conference games we lost. Dana just doesn't know how to hold on for the win. He is getting better at being a head coach.

I say give him a few more years, win or lose to build up team depth, see if he can finish in the top half of the league, get to and win some bowl games. If he can't, well then we should be acclimated to the Big 12, have some real depth for whomever Luck decides is our next coach.

Thinking is a dangerous habit, Wilkie. It only gets you into trouble. WVU's new coach for the 2015-16 season will be - Dana Holgorsen.

Holgorsen's not going anywhere. His buyout is still quite high, and WVU recently spent a ton of money to leave a dying conference early. It's a matter of economics, which nobody around here seems to be able to take into account. There is no need to pay one set of coaches a lot of money not to coach, while adding on a new set of coaches with similar prices. It's an unnecessary expense, that would be better left until there is little or no buyout to consider.
